Merry Christmas

Aidan's First Christmas!

It turned out to be a very white Christmas for Aidan. We had a big snow storm the week before Christmas. At the high point there was about 1 1/2 feet of snow on our back patio. This year Aidan's Aunt Linda was flying in from Chicago to stay for Christmas. The day before her flight a number of airlines were canceling, so we were worried that she might not make it. Luckily, the sky cleared up the next day. Linda's flight came in only about 30 minutes late. We also had Aidan's Grandma and Grandpa Smith and cousin Mikaila. There were a lot of extra baby holders. We didn't hold Aidan much until everyone left on Saturday. Every once in a while you would here someone say, "It's my turn." However, I was never able to convince any of them to do the 3:00 am feeding, hmmm.

Christmas day was all about food. Even though there were only 6 of us, we cooked as if there were 20. I think we spent more time cooking and cleaning up than we did eating.

Just lounging with his cousin Mikaila.

Aunt Linda held Aidan as much as possible during her short stay.

We're working on head control...
