October 10, 2008: Day 40 (Week 34)

This is now week 34 for Aidan, and today marks exactly 10 weeks from when Denyse checked into the hospital on August 1st, and marks 10 weeks that I've visited the hospital every day.

Aidan had a very good day today, and he was down to 27% oxygen for much of the afternoon.

Here Aidan gets his temperature taken. He usually doesn't like this, but today, he slept through it.





Even though Aidan was way overdue for a poop at last nights weighing, he had pretty strong gain tonight:





1744 grams (3 lbs 13.5 oz) is up 26 grams from last night. If he gains another 71 grams in the next 2 days, he'll be right on track to be 4 pounds by Sunday!

After the weighing, Denyse held Aidan and then fed him again by bottle.



And then held him for a few minutes.





Those blasted hiccups!
