Aidan actually ate about 2cc of milk, and the nurse said he did very well. They know he ate 2cc because the nurse pulled it back out the feeding tube to see (and then pushed it back in). After the feeding, Aidan was a little cold, so we let him lay in bed under the heat lamp. He was wide awake:

He is in what they call the quiet alert state:
And then Denyse held Aidan for 2 more hours:
Aidan seemed to have a lot more energy today than yesterday, and both nurses today thought he looked more pink. This was really nice to see. He also gained a strong 44 grams today and is now 1524 grams (3 lbs 5.7 oz)
The 8pm feeding was interesting. Aidan has learned how to push the milk back up through the tube. When we arrived at 8:20, he had 15cc of milk sitting in the syringe. We can get it to drain into his stomach by holding the syringe higher up so gravity feeds the milk. I sat next to Aidan for an hour, feeding him 5cc at a time, only to have him push it back up into the syringe. Eventually after 9:30, I let Denyse take over.

By the time we left at 10:40, he was just about done with his 26cc feeding. He gets another 26cc at 11pm...
PS: The nurse decided to go to a larger diaper size for Aidan today. The size is called Pampers Preemie - Small. This is the fourth size of diaper Aidan has had. I don't know what the other 3 sizes were called. I guess they were Preemie - XS, Preemie - Tiny, and Preemie - X-Tiny. X-Tiny was the diaper that was about the size of a sheet of toilet paper, and about as heavy :)
